Mad Tea Party http://www.whosethatrecords.com/madteaparty.html: Based in Asheville, NC, this musical trio, consisting of stand-up bass, ukulele, and guitar, banjo, fiddle, tenor guitar (whatever Jason wants to play!)...is a real audience grabber...particularly with their extremely strong harmony singing, and eclectic range of material, covering western swing, blues, country, ragtime, and other generes as well, including Hawaiian music. Their personalities and solid musicianship guarantee a super fun show! They are well designed to make a great wedding band, too!
Larry Keel & Natural Bridge http://www.larrykeel.com/: Larry Keel's current musical outfit, Larry Keel & Natural Bridge, are based, not surprisingly, in Natural Bridge, VA. Besides being one of the best flat-picking guitarists in the business (multiple winner of Teluride Bluegrass Festival's guitar contest, and co-bill for a while with Bluegrass' greatest guitarist of all time, Tony Rice), Larry is known for attracting the best sidemen (and women) as well...never pass up an opportunity to see what a bluegrass band can do these days!
The Dustmakers http://www.dustmakers.com/index.html: One of the up & coming bluegrass bands of Seattle, the Dustmakers are a regualr part of the Seattle bluegrass scene. They don't play a ton of shows, but their the band members can be seen regularly as part of many of the local bluegrass gatherings. They make a fine wedding band as well.
